Online Course Development

Charles has significant experience working as a Subject Matter Expert in both developing Human Resources Management (HRM) online courses from scratch, and redesigning existing ones. For example, he developed and implemented the Industrial Relations course for Seneca from scratch on the Blackboard platform and now this course is used by Ontario Learn and accepted by the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA) toward the academic requirements of the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) program. He has also revitalized the Strategic Human Resources Planning and Recruitment & Selection courses, and completely redesigned both Organizational Behaviour and Recruitment & Selection so that they can be delivered in a 7-week accelerated format, as well as the normal 14 week version. Charles has also restructured the Strategic Compensation course for Canadore College on the Moodle platform.

The experience that Charles has gained developing HRM courses in various platforms for various colleges gives him a unique ability to do this in any related business field for any post- secondary institution.
