Charles started his in-class teaching career with Seneca in 2002 focusing on adult learners. In 2006, he began teaching sections of Human Resources Management (HRM) courses online starting with Organizational Behaviour (HRM742) and Strategic Human Resources Planning (HRM822). He has continued to teach various online courses through Seneca each term from 2006 to the present. From the beginning of 2012, Charles taught sections of Labour Relations (HRM845), Recruitment and Selection (HRM782) and the pilots for 7-week accelerated versions of both Organizational Behaviour (HRM742) and Recruitment and Selection. All courses were taught on the Blackboard platform through Ontario Learn and were approved by the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA) for their Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) curriculum. In total, since 2012 Charles has taught over thirty sections of Human Resources courses to over 1050 students at three colleges, Seneca on the Blackboard platform, Canadore on the Moodle platform and Conestoga on the Angel platform.
While Charles has concentrated his efforts in teaching HRM courses to date he has the skills and experience to deliver any business related course online in any platform.
